Oh FINA!

I'm helping out at the FINA/Arena Swimming World Cup 2009 and today's Day 1. Basically, my job is to collect the swimmers' cards and arrange them according to their lanes and they'll collect them after their competition. There are several cute swimmers with smokin' hot bods, most of whom are foreigners and way too tall for me!

- Shared a cab with a Power 98fm radio deejay. I was running late for the afternoon session so I decided to take a cab from the bus stop just outside Singapore Sports School. This lady approached me, asked if I'm going there and if I wanted to share a cab. I thought she was a spectator but later found out she's going to cover the event! When we arrived, she picked up the cab fare because she is able to claim from the company. I'm so touched by her kind gesture, even though it's only a few dollars, I'm sure she's already planning to do that. She even sheltered me from the rain. How can a stranger be so nice to another stranger? I'm amazed...

- Saw Matthew, who's the co-host of the global event. That guy's my inspiration because he's only 20 yet his portfolio is filled with hosting, acting, journalism, radio, modelling and singing experiences- YOG and SG Idol studio host is one of the many. Kor smsed him to let him know I was there and asked me to go say 'Hi' but I was too shy to. Haha. OK, my point is...never stop reaching for your dreams and believing in yourself. Cos he did and look where he is now.

Day 2 and the last day of the World Cup tomorrow. Whoa, this entry seems long and boring. Hug yourself if you did read through everything. Imma go rest my legs and sleep early tonight. Have a good weekend! :D 신의 축복이
